Developed in the late 1880’s, Inman Park is considered to be Atlanta’s first planned suburb. From ornate Victorian and Queen Anne homes to smaller bungalows, the charming tree-lined streets of this historic neighborhood typify the popular garden-style suburbs of the late nineteenth century.
Inman Park’s location connects residents to a variety of outdoor venues and parks, including Springvale Park, the Atlanta BeltLine’s Eastside Trail and the Freedom Parkway PATH trail. For the past 40+ years, people have waited for the last weekend in April to attend the beloved Inman Park Festival & Tour of Homes. The event includes a popular art and craft street market, quirky parade, live music and a tour of homes in this unique National Register of Historic Places neighborhood.
